Location: Tulsa, OK (Onsite)

We're partnering with an established food ingredients manufacturing company to find a Senior Process Engineer who is passionate about driving operational excellence through process optimization and continuous improvement. What You'll Do

• Lead process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and plant performance.
• Identify and execute cost savings and productivity improvement projects using process and operational data.
• Support the design, review, and implementation of capital (CapEx) projects.
• Lead cross-functional process improvement and Operational Excellence/Kaizen initiatives.
• Develop and maintain process engineering documentation including PFDs, P&IDs, and mass and energy balances.
• Support HAZOP, Process Safety Management (PSM), Management of Change (MOC), and risk assessments.
• Provide technical leadership during equipment startups, troubleshooting, and process investigations.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 5-8+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (senior-level candidates encouraged to apply).
• Proven experience leading chemical process optimization and process improvement projects that deliver measurable savings.
• Experience supporting engineering design reviews and CapEx projects.
• Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in industries such as chemical, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, paper, or oil & gas is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of PSM, HAZOP, utilities, or wastewater systems is a plus.

• Base salary: $90,000-$135,000
• Annual performance bonus (target 15%)
