Established outpatient internal medicine practice in the Tampa Bay area is seeking an experienced, personable Nurse Practitioner (APRN) for a permanent part-time position.

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, approximately 4 hours per day / 20 hours per week . Daytime hours only.

No hospital, nursing home, rehabilitation facility, overnight, weekend, or call responsibilities.

The Nurse Practitioner will provide outpatient primary and internal medicine care to an adult patient population, working in collaboration with the physician and established office staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and manage established and new patients
• Manage common acute and chronic medical conditions
• Perform routine follow-up visits
• Review laboratory and diagnostic results
• Order appropriate laboratory studies, imaging, and referrals
• Provide preventive care and medication management
• Maintain timely and accurate EHR documentation
• Coordinate care with specialists when appropriate

Qualifications:

• Current Florida APRN license
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience in primary care, family medicine, geriatrics, or internal medicine preferred
• Comfortable independently managing adult patients with multiple chronic medical conditions
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Reliable and able to maintain a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
