Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Technician in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This position involves providing specialized surgical technologist services in a hybrid cath lab setting, supporting the organizations cardiothoracic surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Working 4-10 hour shifts with a rotating call schedule, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program; Colorado Surgical Tech License CST (DORA); Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) or NCCT; Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association; Must have specific CVOR CST experience; Must have current Colorado license and meet the radius rule (permanent address at least 75 miles from the facility).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a hybrid cath lab setting preferred.
• Additional Information: RADIUS RULE: traveler's perm address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility. CAPS registration required at (may take up to two weeks). Out-of-state agencies must register in the system and specify their out-of-state status in the Multiple Locations field. Ensure the SS# and DOB are correct in Medefis to avoid onboarding issues.
