Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday – Friday, varying shifts (7:00am – 3:30pm or 9:30am – 6:30pm) | No weekends, no call, no holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
• Position patients and perform PET/CT imaging procedures, ensuring proper techniques based on patient age and ability
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy in accordance with applicable scope, standards of practice, and organizational policies
• Order, prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols and applicable regulations
• Analyze imaging results, identify quality issues, and take appropriate corrective action including repositioning and repeating procedures as needed
• Monitor patient condition continuously and maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in CT required
• NMTCB CT certification required
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the NMTCB, or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with Nuclear Medicine (NM) certification by the ARRT
• Active New York State License required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Minimum 2 years of PET/CT experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with GE PET or Philips PET scanners preferred
