The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring machined work pieces meet rigorous specifications. This role involves interpreting inspection instructions, measuring dimensions using precision instruments, and performing various inspections and tests to maintain quality standards.
Essential Functions
- Inspect machined work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications
- Interpret and follow written inspection instructions, quality requirements, and customer specifications
- Measure dimensions using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and more
- Perform X-ray operations on production parts
- Complete necessary inspection forms and reports
- Conduct first-run, in-process, and final inspections
- Perform airflow tests and other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in machine operation and/or quality
- Ability to work 2nd shift (2pm-10pm)
- Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment
- U.S. Persons only due to export restrictions

- Experience in manufacturing
- Strong ethical standards and integrity
- Reading comprehension skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Proficiency with computerized shop floor tools
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
