About the Role:
The Pet Wash in El Segundo, CA is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Front Person / Bather to join our team! If you love animals and enjoy providing top-notch grooming services in a fun, pet-friendly environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in clients and their pets with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Perform bathing, drying, and basic grooming services on dogs
- Brush out coats, clean ears, trim nails, and apply finishing touches post-bath
- Safely handle and restrain pets during bathing and grooming procedures
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment
- Communicate with pet owners about their pet's needs, behavior, and any concerns observed
- Schedule appointments and manage front desk operations as needed
Requirements:
- Genuine love for animals and comfort handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Previous pet bathing, grooming, or veterinary experience is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Basic knowledge of dog handling and safety best practices
