School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Granger, Iowa

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
• Comfort with IEP documentation and progress tracking

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students K-12
• Develop individualized therapeutic interventions and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
• Participate in the development and review of IEPs, setting appropriate therapy goals
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services in both individual and group settings
• Track progress, maintain accurate records, and deliver clear documentation as required by school policies
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and advocate for students' speech-language needs
