This outpatient Physical Therapist role is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, a city that offers far more than its famous Strip. Las Vegas combines world-class entertainment, dining, and sports with a surprisingly strong sense of community, a growing healthcare sector, and excellent access to outdoor recreation. Residents enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine each year, nearby hiking and biking in Red Rock Canyon and Mount Charleston, and easy weekend trips to Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam. The region continues to expand with new professional sports teams, parks, and family-friendly amenities, making it an appealing place to build both a career and a life. You will be working in a modern outpatient clinic setting focused on high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy care. The clinics feature contemporary treatment spaces, dedicated gym areas with functional equipment, and a supportive team environment. The culture emphasizes collaboration among physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and support staff, with a focus on patient-centered care, professional growth, and continuous improvement. A typical day in this role includes performing comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized plans of care, and providing one-on-one treatment sessions. You will treat primarily orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, including post-surgical patients, sports injuries, spine-related pain, and general functional mobility deficits. Patient volumes are structured to support thorough assessments and meaningful, hands-on care, while maintaining efficient clinic flow. Responsibilities include: Conducting detailed initial examinations and re-evaluations Developing and progressing evidence-based treatment plans Providing therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, and functional training Educating patients and families on diagnosis, prognosis, home programs, and injury prevention Collaborating with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate care Documenting all care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record Participating in clinical case discussions, in-services, and ongoing professional development Contributing to a positive, team-oriented clinic environment and patient experience The caseload typically includes adolescents through older adults, with opportunities to see athletes, active adults, and post-operative patients depending on clinic location and referral patterns. Patient scheduling strives for a balance of productivity and quality, allowing time for individualized care and education. Shifts are generally full-time with daytime and some early evening hours to meet patient needs, and exact schedules may vary by clinic. Las Vegas’s growing population and vibrant sports and recreation scene create strong demand for physical therapy services, offering excellent opportunities for professional development and specialization. Whether you are early in your career or an experienced clinician, this role allows you to refine your skills, explore advanced training, and shape a practice that aligns with your professional goals in a dynamic and exciting city.
