Turning Point is focused on working to build strong families and help the communities we serve addressing mental health and substance use.

Among the current suite of services, we offer Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program, Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program, Behavior Coaching and Family Services, DUI/DWAI services, Individual and Family Therapy, and ADHD testing. Services are offered in-home, in the community, or from either outpatient facility (913 11th Ave in Greeley and 1644 S. College Ave in Fort Collins). We have contracts with DHS and DYS, and also provide services to youth, families, and adults not involved in the system.

Position Summary:

Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate treatment plans for assigned caseload as well as facilitate individual, group and family therapy sessions for adolescents in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in mental health discipline. Must be licensed or provisionally licensed.
• Licensed Addiction Counselor preferred, or actively seeking this licensure.
• Minimum two years clinical experience in client assessment, treatment planning, and implementation. Prefer work experience with individuals and families. Prefer interest in trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Self-directed work style and ability to collaborate effectively with treatment team, agency administrators, and all personnel to meet agency objectives. Demonstrated ability to show initiative in managing job responsibilities, communicating job performance ideas and concerns to supervisor, and seeking resources to maintain and build areas of expertise.
• Excel at time management, documentation skills, and have excellent computer skills to be able to navigate different EHR systems.
• Flexibility in work hours to accommodate program's needs to include evening.
• Ability to work effectively with adolescents
• Ability to provide compassionate and culturally competent care

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct up to 28 hours of group therapy each week with adolescents plus individual and family therapy
• Provide therapeutic support to clients in a PHP setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care
• Maintain documentation of treatment plans and progress notes
• Engage with families to provide support and resources
• Development and Implementation of Client Services:
• Review each new client's comprehensive history and previous treatment.
• Report client progress and treatment concerns to Supervisor and share all treatment suggestions with the treatment team.
• Work collaboratively with the treatment team in decision-making processes involving clinical issues that impact treatment.
• Remain available on an on-call basis for client crisis.
• Perform the duties identified as requirements for Behavioral Health Administration:
• Participate actively in the admission, treatment planning, discharge and aftercare planning for the client. In addition is directly responsible for completing client discharge summaries.
• Assure that an individual client's plan is developed and required treatment plan review and modifications are made.
• Assure that the treatment plan for each client is implemented and documented in their file.
• Assure that client documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date as required by BHA standards.

Essential functions:

• Effectively represent the mission and purpose of Turning Point.
• Oversee all aspects of the client's treatment services and delivery.
• Coordinate with Supervisor to ensure the quality of therapeutic services for the clients served in all areas of the program.
• Position requires 9am to 5pm availability Monday through Friday with some flexibility to accommodate program needs.

• Role model to clients in an appropriate demeanor, appearance, language and communication. (PPPM-Section 1080 1.g.)
• Treat with respect the findings, views, and actions of all colleagues, and use appropriate channels to express judgment on these matters. (PPPM-Section 1080 3.c.)
• Work within the bounds of professional protocol, in all manner of speaking. (PPPM-Section 1080 3.e.)

Complete other duties as assigned.

Supervisory responsibilities: Direct supervision of assigned interns, when applicable.

Physical demands and work environment:

• Ability to do occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds (physical).
• Ability to use computerized client database systems for documentation and record keeping (visual).
• Ability to communicate with clients, families, referral agents and other professionals in person, by telephone and by email (verbal, visual, hearing).
• Ability to climb stairs to access clients at all times in the buildings (physical).
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle in order to transport clients (physical, visual).

*Bilingual Compensation

This position is eligible for a bilingual pay increase for candidates who demonstrate professional proficiency in English and a second language that is directly used in the performance of the role. Bilingual employees are expected to use both languages regularly to communicate with clients and internal teams. Eligibility for, and continuation of, bilingual pay is contingent upon verified language proficiency and the ongoing business need to use both languages in the position.
