About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 2x10 hours & 2x8 hours OR all 8 hours Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year(s) License: Required Certifications: BLS & ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Moderate sedation experience Description: Clienttion badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start. In this role, you will be responsible for managing conscious sedation closely. You will be tasked with charting, circulating, and pre and post care for interventional radiology procedures. You will work with inpatient, outpatient, and emergent cases including stroke thrombectomies, embolizations, and biopsies. The average number of cases per day ranges from 5 to 10. The position requires teamwork and a willingness to assist when needed. You will use EMR systems such as EPIC and equipment including Philips Xper and Siemens C-Arm. A lead will be assigned, and you will bring your own lock for the locker and designated hospital shoes. Call response time is 30 minutes, with on-call requirements including 1-2 weekdays and every third weekend. A team lead will be present during each shift. Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius and cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any affiliated facilities. Additional requests for time off after submission will not be approved.
