Performs technical, mainly pre‑defined tasks for accomplishing defined service delivery work for customer equipment. Service Area & Shift Service Area – Orange County NY – Clinton County NY (I87 Corridor) Shift Requirements after onboarding/training: Monday – Friday 3:00 pm–11:30 pm (1500–2330) Responsibilities Service CT (Catscan), MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), and MI (Molecular Imaging). Customer Service Engineer level based on prior experience. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthineers equipment. Deliver timely and effective repairs and provide adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction. Help manage financial performance within the territory through inventory management, time management, and timely service call closure. Manage company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately. Support customers remotely and onsite, providing 2nd and 3rd level user support for arising issues. Coordinate and accomplish defined service operations and resolve product issues for customer equipment. Support sales lead generation for predefined service offers and contribute to planning activities. Adhere to defined processes and applicable regulations. Ideal Candidate Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision. Ability to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately. Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment. General understanding of the principles of electricity, power supplies, and grounding. Required Skills & Experience Minimum high school diploma; technical degree, military training, or equivalent applicable training preferred. Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, torque wrenches, etc.). Ability to work individually and in a team setting. Proficiency in MS Office applications. 10+ years’ experience in complex electro‑mechanical or as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments. Valid driver’s license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required. Physical requirements: lifting 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/step‑stool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high‑reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone. Highly organized and able to plan. Vendor Credentialing & Access Position must have full access to Siemens Healthineers' client sites to perform the essential functions of this position. Many clients require employees to meet vendor credentialing requirements before being allowed site access. These requirements include, but are not limited to: proof of valid identification (photo, driver’s license, SSN), criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations (COVID‑19, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus), annual TB testing, and healthcare training. Compensation & Benefits Base pay range: $85,000 – $100,000 annually; base pay may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Information is provided per required state Pay Transparency Laws and will vary based on market location. Commission eligibility: commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the company's plan; commissions are based on individual and/or company performance.
