POSITION OVERVIEW: The Senior Manager, Payer Marketing at Nestl Health Science is responsible for the strategy, development, creation, and execution of payer marketing initiatives, copay assistance program content, pull-through programs, and Market Access communications. This role serves as the lead content partner for the U.S. Market Access organization and is accountable for the creation, management, and execution of content and communication materials that support payer strategy, reimbursement, formulary access, trade, distribution, patient services, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. These responsibilities include development of payer value propositions, coverage and access communications, pull-through materials, educational resources, and other Market Access-focused content designed to support access objectives and optimize patient outcomes. This role is responsible for all Market Access content creation across the organization and works closely with Market Access functions to ensure messaging is accurate, aligned, and reflective of the evolving payer and reimbursement landscape. These responsibilities are distinct from traditional Brand Marketing activities and focus on access, coverage, reimbursement, and payer-related communications rather than promotional brand campaigns and customer marketing programs. Additional responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, developing payer value propositions for both pre- and post-launch products, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to execute contracted national pull-through initiatives and tools. The individual will collaborate extensively with cross-functional partners, including finance, legal, compliance, sales, marketing, medical affairs, and other Market Access teams. This position reports to the Senior Director, Market Access (Trade, Pricing, Patient Services and Payer Marketing) and involves up to 20% travel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and manage patient affordability program messaging, content, and communication plans for copay and patient assistance programs, ensuring clear, compliant, and effective support for patients and healthcare providers.
• Develops and implements the action plan related to patient support services, patient assistance program and payer/channel pull-through materials.
• Understands and monitors payer pharmaceutical coverage policies and trends that may impact access and affordability for patients.
• Achieves expense targets for areas of responsibility, leads expense budget tracking, and contributes to budget planning.
• Leads the development of insights, strategies and tactics for reimbursement, and distribution and create coverage dashboards for the US Market Access Strategic Accounts team as well as other access-related sales tools and patient coverage messaging (e.g. pull-through optimization tool).
• Leads the development of payer-facing educational materials for the US Market Access Strategic Accounts team (e.g. Inflation Reduction Act Medicare, medication adherence).
• Manages Market Access tool (including content creation) and partners with US Commercial Field Team to monitor usage and effectiveness of promotional materials.
• Lead the development, creation, and execution of Market Access content, communications, and engagement materials across all U.S. Market Access functions, partnering closely with, pricing, reimbursement, distribution, trade, patient services, and payer access teams to deliver coordinated access strategies and stakeholder communications. This includes ownership of payer, reimbursement, formulary, coverage, access, and pull-through materials that support Market Access objectives.
• Collaborates with US Marketing to ensure patient support, access, and reimbursement messages are incorporated into promotional materials for the US Commercial Field Team.
• Partners with Medical Affairs and Market Access team to develop payer publications that focus on HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research).
• Work closely with cross-functional partners, including finance, supply chain, legal, compliance, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and execution of payer marketing strategies.
• Collaborates with Promotional Review Committee to gain approval for Market Access materials through internal review process and ensures marketing activities follow regulatory and legal requirements.
• Effectively manages multiple agency and vendor partners to produce deliverables within timelines and allocated budgets.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree is required but experience would be considered in lieu of a degree. MBA preferred. At least 7 years of pharmaceutical experience is preferred with at least 5 years of patient support or market access-related experience. Blend of both biotech and pharma company experience would be nice to have. Strong understanding of the payer landscape, including insurance companies, PBMs, and Market Access. Experience in supporting idea generation and managing strategic and tactical execution of high-impact projects. Willingness to travel up to 20%.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Strong preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey, Arlington, Virginia, or Solon, Ohio. Salary: $149,000.00 to $202,000.00 per year Bonus Eligibility: Yes The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
