The operating room (OR) nursing professional will be responsible for circulating during surgical procedures in a healthcare facility located in Rockford, Illinois. The role involves providing skilled support in ortho, neuro, and podiatry surgeries, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency. The position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic surgical team.

Job Details:

• Position: Operating Room Nurse (RN) Circulating Role
• Location: Rockford, Illinois
• Shift Schedule: Day shifts with start times at 6:30 AM or 9:00 AM, working four 10-hour shifts per week, including rotational call shifts
• Required Qualifications: Valid AHA certifications; minimum of 1 year of experience in operating room nursing; no local candidates within a 50-mile radius; must possess strong skill set in ortho, neuro, and podiatry specialties; circulating RN certification only; RN license in the state of Illinois
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic, neuro, and podiatry surgeries preferred
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role emphasizes adherence to facility-specific fixed notes and clinical standards. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on specialty surgical procedures.
