Patient Demographics: Adults and Geriatrics
Patient Volume/Census: 58 Patients Per Day
Case Mix: 60% Interventional Radiology / 40% Diagnostic Radiology
EMR System: Epic
Office Equipment Available: Phillips Angio Suites
Specialty Backup Available: Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology Physicians
Support Staff Available: Radiology Department Staff
Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Compensation & Benefits: Rate: TBD; Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered
Required Procedures: Biopsies, Drainages, Tube Placements, Line Placements, Nephrostomies, Biliary Drainages, Arterial Angiograms
Job Requirements: Active New York Medical License, Board Certified in Radiology, Active DEA (Preferred), ACLS Required (BLS Not Required if ACLS Active), Interventional Radiology Experience, Other Qualifications: Epic Training Required; Experience with Phillips Angio Suites Preferred; Onsite Coverage Only No Remote Reading
Duties & Responsibilities: Perform Interventional Radiology Procedures, Interpret Diagnostic Imaging Studies Including X-Ray, CT, and Ultrasound, Evaluate and Manage Patients Requiring Image-Guided Interventions, Collaborate with Referring Physicians and Clinical Teams, Complete Accurate and Timely Documentation in Epic, Provide High-Quality Patient Care in an Onsite Hospital Setting
