Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide direct patient care in a labor and delivery setting
• Assist in C-section procedures when necessary
• Monitor fetal development and respond to critical changes
• Administer medications, including Pitocin, as needed
• Prepare and transport patients requiring specialized care

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Valid RN license
• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
• C-section experience required
