As we grow, we are looking for a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist who is passionate about patient care and committed to clinical excellence. Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist based in Brooklyn, NY. The psychiatrist will conduct psychiatric evaluations, formulate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans for children, adolescents, and young adults. Daily responsibilities include prescribing and managing medications, providing psychoeducation to patients and families, and coordinating care with therapists, primary care providers, and school-based professionals. The role also involves regular follow-up visits, monitoring treatment progress, updating clinical documentation, and participating in multidisciplinary case discussions. The psychiatrist will support quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with relevant clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards. Qualifications Expertise in Child Psychiatry and Adolescent Psychiatry, with demonstrated experience treating children, adolescents, and young adults. Strong foundation in Psychiatry and Medicine, including diagnostic assessment, psychopharmacology, and evidence-based treatment modalities. Solid understanding of Mental Health across developmental stages, including mood, anxiety, neurodevelopmental, and behavioral disorders. Board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychiatry. Valid medical license (or eligibility) to practice in New York. Mutiple State licenses is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with young patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and non-discriminatory care. Ability to manage a clinical caseload, maintain accurate documentation, and use electronic health records effectively. What your day-to-day practice looks like 100% hybrid outpatient psychiatry Lower to moderate acuity populations (ex. anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD) Standard session lengths (60-minute intakes, 20 - 30-minute follow-ups) No inpatient, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization care or crisis coverage In-house referral network to therapists Full operational support, including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, credentialing and licensing Compensation, Benefits & Stability Employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) match with employer match Paid vacation time off (PTO), Paid sick time, Personal days, Paid Jury duty time off Licensing support with upfront coverage of costs Full-time annual salary at $300,000 - $350,000 commensurate with experience Wonder Years is an equal opportunity employer.
