Industrial Painter: Rockford, Illinois

Our customer in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re hiring full-time Industrial Painters for 1st shift. In this role, you will apply coatings and finishes to a variety of metal and industrial products, ensuring high-quality results while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities of the Industrial Painter:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
• Apply paint, coatings, or finishes using spray guns, brushes, or rollers according to specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment and tools.
• Assist with other industrial duties as needed to support production.

Industrial Painter Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Background or experience in industrial painting preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and company policies.

Pay for Industrial Painter: $17.00 – $19.00/hour
