A leading healthcare organization is seeking a skilled Outpatient Therapist to support our client’s outpatient mental health services. Located in Fairfax, VA, this full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 am–4:30 pm). The position involves providing evidence-based, person-centered therapy to diverse populations in a supportive setting. The application deadline for this role is 10/28/2026. Outpatient Therapist Responsibilities: Evaluate clients’ mental health, addiction, and behavior to determine treatment readiness. Develop personalized treatment goals and plans collaboratively with clients. Review treatment options with clients and their families, ensuring understanding. Assist clients in acquiring skills and behaviors necessary for recovery. Educate families about addiction and behavior disorders, offering coping strategies. Outpatient Therapist Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling required. Virginia licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LCADC, or LMFT required. One to three years of experience in behavioral healthcare or substance abuse settings serving diverse populations. Proven experience conducting individual, family, and group counseling (PHP/IOP).
