Job Details:


• Day shifts, 8 hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Work in an adult outpatient oncology clinic setting
• At least 2 years of experience required as a Medical Assistant
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification required
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required
• BLS certification required - AHA only
• Take vitals, note patients' needs and concerns, and assist with clinic procedures and exams
• Perform blood glucose monitoring via glucometer, height/weight measurements, and pulse oximetry
• Administer immunizations and label specimens
• Obtain and record vital signs, patient history, medications, and allergies
• Room patients and handle pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
• Perform urine collection including UA and clean catch
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary experts in palliative care, nutrition, genetics, and health psychology
• Provide quality care in a compassionate, patient-family centered environment
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - locals not accepted
