- Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs to craft tailored therapeutic strategies aimed at achieving their practical goals
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and day-to-day activities
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide extensive, holistic care
- Provide Education to Patients and Families: Guide patients and caregivers on therapeutic practices to foster continuous improvement at home
- Evaluate Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor patients' development and adapt treatment plans as necessary to help them stay on track
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Continuing education and specialty certifications are encouraged and supported
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
- A genuine passion for helping others achieve their utmost level of independence
