Job Description
  • Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs to craft tailored therapeutic strategies aimed at achieving their practical goals
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and day-to-day activities
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide extensive, holistic care
  • Provide Education to Patients and Families: Guide patients and caregivers on therapeutic practices to foster continuous improvement at home
  • Evaluate Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor patients' development and adapt treatment plans as necessary to help them stay on track
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Continuing education and specialty certifications are encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
Skills
