This position is adaptable, with a flexible schedule that includes evening and weekend hours, accommodating both clients' needs and clinicians' availability. Working remotely allows for a broader reach to clients, ensuring they receive the help they need wherever they may be situated.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be entrusted with a variety of critical responsibilities, including:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health and substance history.

  • Developing individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and underlying psychological conditions.
  • \n
  • Facilitating dynamic individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
  • \n
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and peer support specialists, to ensure comprehensive client care.

  • Educating clients and their families about the recovery process, enabling them to be active participants in treatment.

  • Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records that comply with all regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus primarily on individuals battling substance abuse, including those facing co-occurring mental health disorders. Clients may vary in background and treatment history, presenting unique challenges and needs that require a personalized and compassionate approach to care.

Qualifications\n

Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid, unrestricted license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD in Pennsylvania.
  • \n
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated experience or specialized training in addiction counseling and therapy.
  • \n
  • An understanding of and proficiency in evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and concurrent disorders.
  • \n
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to inspire motivation and resilience in clients.

Preferred Experience\n
