Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role is ideal for a nurse with a strong interest in perioperative care who thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment. The RN will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care throughout the patient’s surgical experience. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative nursing care for patients undergoing GI procedures Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow Monitor patient conditions, assess vital signs, and respond appropriately to changes Administer medications and treatments per established protocols Educate patients and families on procedure preparation, recovery, and discharge instructions Support quality improvement initiatives and patient safety standards Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current, active RN license BLS and ACLS certifications required Prior experience in pre-admissions, pre-op, PACU, GI lab, or surgical setting preferred (training available for motivated RNs) Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills Ability to prioritize and manage workload in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, documentation, and patient interaction skills Longevity in past roles What We Offer As an organization, one way we care for our communities and each other is by providing a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage Life and AD&D coverage Short- and long-term disability options Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) and health savings accounts (HSAs) 401(k) and retirement planning resources Paid holidays and vacation Our Commitment We are committed to fostering an inclusive culture that respects and values diversity.
