Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Dickson, TN. Job Details: Schedule: 9A-5P LUNCH 1-1:30 Location: Dickson, TN Job Type: local contract Contract Length: 17 Week/s Pay Range: 19.93/Hour - 21.36/Hour *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Perform venipuncture and other specimen collections using straight and butterfly needles.
• Collect, label, process, centrifuge, split, freeze, and package specimens according to established procedures.
• Verify patient information, physician orders, requisitions, and specimen labels for accuracy.
• Explain blood draw and specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously to patients.
• Maintain specimen integrity by following proper storage, temperature, transportation, and handling protocols.
• Perform equipment maintenance, decontamination, recordkeeping, and patient information updates.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and complete required annual department training.
• Answer telephone inquiries and provide laboratory results as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 Year of phlebotomy experience in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital setting.
• Valid state phlebotomy certification where required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
