Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2

We are seeking a Environmental Services Manager for Cooper Medical Center, located in Camden, New Jersey to manage the EVS team at the main hospital. This is part of the larger main facility.

This is a Second Shift role (some weekends and holidays) which will report into an Operations Manager. Main facility is a 655 bed, level 1 trauma center. The shift is 3pm-11:30pm, with a required half hour pre & post shift.

About the job

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll oversee frontline environmental services teams to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. You’ll play a key part in scheduling, training, and supporting daily operations, helping create a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $67405 per year - $87230 per year

Requirements

• Education Requirement: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
