Sterile Processing Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to assist in maintaining a safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of medical instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment using designated techniques and protocols.
Inspect, assemble, and package surgical instruments for sterilization.
Ensure proper inventory management of supplies and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and outcomes.
Adhere to safety and infection control standards at all times.
Collaborate with surgical teams to meet the needs of the operating room.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing or a related field.
Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Work Schedule

Shifts available include 3 PM - 11:30 PM and 12 PM - 8:30 PM. Position requires rotating on-call availability on weekends.
