Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer
Overview
Support CNC machining operations through programming, process improvement, tooling optimization, and quality initiatives. This role will work closely with setup personnel to improve machining performance, troubleshoot production issues, and support quoting activities.
Responsibilities

• Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam.
• Support milling, mill-turn, and lathe machining operations.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support quoting and process planning activities.
• Select and optimize tooling for machining operations.
• Collaborate with setup personnel to improve production efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.

Required Qualifications

• Manufacturing Engineering or CNC Programming experience.
• Mastercam programming experience.
• Experience with milling, mill-turn, and lathe operations.
• Quoting and process planning experience.
• Tooling selection and optimization experience.
• Root cause analysis and quality troubleshooting experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a machining environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fixture design experience.
• AutoCAD or Inventor experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Broadview, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
