Food Service Worker

Our client, Cumberland County Schools Child Nutrition is seeking Food Service Workers to join their team. As a Food Service Worker, you will be part of the school kitchen staff supporting the school kitchen manager. The ideal candidate will have food service and customer service experience which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Food Service Worker

Location: Fayetteville, NC

Pay Range: $13/hour

What's the Job?

• Preparing, serving, and cooking meals for the students and staff members in the school cafeteria
• Work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen to prepare meals in a timely manner
• Assist with stock; unloading and organizing deliveries
• Clean kitchen, stock room, coolers and freezers to include washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes and removing all trash from the kitchen
• Operate case drawer

What's Needed?

• Must be able to perform work independently as part of a team
• Must be able to physically perform all job duties assigned and be able to stand the entire work shift
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A passion for cooking and working with children
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
