Logistics Coordinator (Part-Time)

Supply Chain / Logistics Coordinator Part-TimeWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain / Logistics Coordinator to join our team in a contract role. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about operations and eager to grow within supply chain management. The position supports multiple functions including logistics coordination, order tracking, inventory control, receiving, and purchasing. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely flow of goods, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting purchasing activities.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate daily logistics and shipping schedules with vendors, carriers, and warehousesMonitor and track incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving any delaysManage and verify incoming materials through the receiving process, ensuring accurate documentationSupport inventory control by maintaining accurate monthly records, reporting discrepancies, performing regular cycle counts, and analyzing stock levels to support production planningServe as backup to the Warehouse Manager as needed, supporting daily operations, receiving coordination, and team communicationSupport the purchasing team by placing purchase orders, following up with vendors, and tracking deliveriesMaintain records and data in ERP systems related to inventory, orders, and shipmentsCommunicate with internal departments to ensure materials and products are available as neededHelp identify process improvements to support supply chain efficiency, cost control, and material availabilityQualifications:Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related fieldExperience with order tracking systems, warehouse portals, or transportation platformsPreferred but Not Required:1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, purchasing, or inventory management (internships or co-ops considered)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailFamiliarity with ERP systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, SAP, or similar is a plus)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office toolsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCompany Overview:Maxxon Corporation along with the MaxTech family of brands is a leading manufacturer of high-performance building materials in the construction industry.
