Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: OR - Operating Room\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/21/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 21, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room for a Level 1 trauma center position requiring prior travel experience and a high skills checklist rating including neuro and vascular competencies.Details\n \n Operating Room unit within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center\n 10-hour day shift schedule, 4 shifts per week\n Call, weekend, and holiday coverage required\n No block scheduling available\n Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month\n Must be competent using Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard applications\n Requirements\n \n Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand\n Prior travel nursing experience required\n Level 1 trauma center experience required\n High rating on skills checklist required, including neuro and vascular competencies\n Proven success in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments required\n Experience managing critical, fast-paced situations required\n Background in high-volume hospitals with diverse and severe cases required\n Must have personal electronics to access required scheduling and communication apps\n Additional Information\n \n Provide OR nursing care within a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center handling complex and challenging cases\n Local candidates accepted at the same rate as the travel rate\n Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-748880.
