Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Dillon, Montana. This role involves providing comprehensive peri-operative nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the surgical team, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the entire peri-operative journey.

This position requires a commitment to professional nursing practice, encompassing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The OR RN will act as a crucial patient advocate, supporting individuals from admission through discharge from PeriOperative Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care within the peri-operative setting, adhering to established standards of practice.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient responses.
• Advocate for patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the peri-operative period.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients undergoing orthopedic, general surgery, gynecological, and endoscopic procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Operating Room / PeriOperative setting.
• Ability to provide care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, and endoscopy cases.
