Position: Fab Shop – Metal Fabricator
Pay: $24.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
Location: Louisville, KY
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Fab Shop – Metal Fabricator to start IMMEDIATELY at $24.00/hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, manuals, and technical instructions
- Develop fabrication and machining sequences
- Layout and mark steel for cutting, burning, sawing, punching, bending, and straightening
- Operate various machine shop and fabrication equipment
- Perform grinding and finishing tasks with hand and power tools
- Complete repetitive fabrication tasks accurately and efficiently
- Assist at customer job sites when needed
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow OSHA guidelines
- Report hazards or safety concerns promptly
- Use required PPE and attend safety trainings regularly
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in a machine shop or metal fabrication environment
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Hands-on operation of brake presses, lathes, milling machines, shears, ironworkers, metal-cutting saws, drills, grinders, and hand tools
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and sketches
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Good hand-eye coordination and knowledge of workplace safety standards
- Teamplayer with the ability to work independently
- Self-motivated with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Basic computer skills
- Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Commitment to safe work practices and workplace safety
Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Comply with OSHA and company safety policies
- Properly use and maintain PPE
- Report hazards or unsafe conditions
- Follow safe operating procedures
- Attend all required safety training including WHMIS and orientation
