This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that's constantly evolving.Purpose:Lead associates in a specific shift/area while supervising warehouse operations to ensure functions are performed within Company and Distribution Center guidelines. Provide excellent customer service to stores serviced through accurate handling of inbound and outbound product.Main Responsibilities:Coach and engage hourly associates towards high productivity, safety, and quality performanceDevelop and demonstrate effective leadership skills and tactics during day to day operationMotivate associates through positive reinforcement and behaviorPromote a safety culture by example, observation feedback and associate relationsCoordinate with peer leaders to balance the workflow of the Distribution CenterMake and support decisions that are consistent with the local union labor agreementWalk the warehouse on a regular basis throughout the shift to ensure compliance on sanitation and quality expectationsMaintain visibility to associates in support of our Open Door PolicyLeverage technology systems to investigate operational issuesCoordinate weekly associate work schedulesMaintain open and constant communication with the Transportation Department to facilitate inbound/outbound flow of productCoordinate with other cross functional departments (To include Inventory Control, Procurement, Building Maintenance, Sanitation, etc.)We Are Looking For Candidates Who Possess The Following:Possess strong knowledge of warehouse operations, with prior work experience to include leadership rolesPossess good supervisory skills and the ability to work with and through others to achieve desired resultsPossess good communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to generate, read, and interpret computerized reportsAbility to juggle operational and administrative tasks and meet multiple deadlinesAbility to concentrate and focus while dealing with frequent interruptionsBasic computer skills required, especially experience in Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management SystemsWe Also Provide A Variety Of Benefits Including:Competitive wages paid weeklyAccess to up to 50% of your earned wages before payday, via our partnership with StreamAssociate discountsHealth and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay).
