In this role, you will create various drawings for installations, prototypes, packaging, and similar work supporting a diverse set of business units. The CAD Drafter will work with manufacturing personnel to resolve drafting-related issues and participate in new product development projects. The CAD Drafter will work with manufacturing personnel to resolve drafting-related issues and participate in new product development projects. - Use drafting and design tools to detail and design large and small installations
- Process engineering change requests (ECR) as required.
- Verify dimensional integrity of part details, materials to be used, the relation of one part to another, and the relation of various parts to the whole structure or project.
- Draw finished designs from sketches, assemblies, and detailed drawings for special sales orders or changes to standard products.
- Associates or Certificate in Drafting; 1+ year or relevant experience, new grads considered
- Training and/or experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs
- Background in architecture, graphics, or mechanical design is beneficial
