WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide hands-on personal care, feeding, hygiene, and ADL support
• Administer medications and document in MARs, care notes, and incident reports
• Support member safety, transportation, and daily routines
  

PERSONAL CARE & DAILY LIVING

• Assist members with personal hygiene, feeding, and daily living activities
• Support nutrition, exercise, communication, and socialization
• Provide physical support with transfers and mobility
• Treat every member with respect and dignity
• Build trusting relationships that make care possible
  

MEDICATION & MEDICAL PROTOCOLS

• Administer medications and maintain medication administration records (MAR)
• Follow client-specific medical protocols and safety plans
• Support members with adaptive equipment and non-complex nursing interventions
• Monitor and respond to health-related needs throughout the shift
• Use your CNA training in a role that respects what you already know how to do
  

TRANSPORTATION

• Every CNA-DSP works an AM or PM shift that includes driving members to and from the day center.
• Load, unload, and secure members and mobility equipment
• Ensure seat belts and wheelchair tie-downs are fastened before moving
• Follow assigned routes without deviation
• Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices
  

SUPERVISION & SAFETY

• Maintain supervision at all times per member safety plans
• Oversee arrivals and departures; track attendance in Therap
• Use positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques
• Respond to behavioral events using approved practices only
• Report safety, health, or rights concerns to your supervisor
  

DOCUMENTATION (matters more than it sounds)

• Your notes are how the whole team stays informed. Families read what you write. Members' care depends on it.
• Update the electronic client record daily in Therap
• Complete MAR documentation, care notes, and incident reports
• Write daily communication notes sent home to parents/guardians
• Document behavior observations clearly and accurately

WHAT YOU BRING

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid CNA certification in good standing
• Minimum age 19
• 3+ years experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and genuine investment in the people you support
• Ability to stay calm and adapt when plans change
• Ability to pass State/Federal Background checks
• Reliable team player who's ready to be hands-on

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS (training provided)

• CPR/First Aid
• Medication Aide
• MANDT

PHYSICIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, and reach
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly
• Assist with transfers and physical activities
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• May be exposed to communicable diseases and blood borne pathogens
• Ability to use approved physical interventions and de-escalation techniques

YOUR SCHEDULE

• MondayFriday, AM (7:00AM-3:00PM) or PM (8:00AM-4:00PM)
• Includes AM or PM transportation route assignment
• No evenings, weekends, or on-call

ADVANCEMENT: CNA-DSP (II)

After you complete 360's advanced training program, you're promoted to CNA-DSP (II) with a $1.00/hour bump to your base wage. Not a maybe. Not a "we'll see." It's built into the job.
