WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a full-time opportunity with a leading surgical facility in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have strong operating room experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked extensively in orthopedic surgery .

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile operating room environments
- Assist surgeons during orthopedic and general surgical procedures
- Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies before cases
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and the surgical team during procedures
- Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and accountability of instruments
- Adhere to infection prevention and patient safety protocols
- Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent cases
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience required
- Orthopedic surgery experience strongly preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- No weekends
- No on-call requirements
