What we’re seeking:
- Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience delivering speech and language therapy within a school setting preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary school teams
- Skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for a broad range of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to changing school needs
What you’ll do day-to-day:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Deliver direct therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to foster student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
- Engage in school-wide activities to promote communication development
