Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS

Responsibilities:

• Facilitating transfers for patients from hospitals
• Performing patient assessments and gathering clinical information
• Communicating with accepting physicians and specialists to secure bed placement
• Managing multiple patient cases concurrently
• Experience with tele-tracking systems to manage bed requests
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays as needed

Must-Have:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU, ED, or transfer center experience
• Acute care experience
• Critical care assessment skills
• Good clinical judgment and ability to follow algorithms
• Professionalism and good customer service skills
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask
• Strong computer skills and experience utilizing multiple computer applications
