Front Desk Associate

Nelson's Furniture is a fourth‑generation, family‑owned furniture store that has proudly served our community since 1967. We're looking for a friendly, dependable Part‑Time Front Desk Associate to be the first smile our customers see when they walk through the door. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized, and likes a variety of tasks throughout the day. Responsibilities Welcome and greet customers as they enter the showroom Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate team member Assist with basic front desk and administrative duties Process simple computer tasks and data entry Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting showroom and front desk area Provide outstanding customer service while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere Support our sales team with miscellaneous daily tasks as needed What We're Looking For Friendly, positive attitude Dependable and punctual Strong communication and people skills Comfortable using a computer and learning new software Able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment Professional appearance and customer‑focused mindset Customer service or retail experience is a plus, but it's not required—we're happy to train the right person!
