GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST

Job DutiesYou will provide logistical and administrative support augmenting management efforts to evaluate and improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of various logistics programs.You will, timely and accurately, accumulate, assemble, assess, analyze, formulate, and submit multiple supply reports with various periodicities.You will serve and liaison between the Government Quality Assurance (QA) team, and the Assistant Contracting Office Representative (ACOR) of the warehouse contractor personnel.You will prepare surveillance reports and note and document performance deficiencies.You will maintain various material/audit-related records to analyze trends, and support FIAR compliance and Navy Inventory Integrity procedures processes identified in the NAVSUP P-723.You will serve as a primary purchase request creator for various material/service requirements supporting warehouse and QA operations.You will develop and/or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to assist the QA team and new employees.You will perform special and unscheduled inventories as required.
