PRODUCTION CLERK – KITTING / COMPONENT WAREHOUSE – COVINGTON, GA

Pay Rate: $17.50/hour

Schedule:
Monday – Friday
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Clerk is responsible for retrieving and controlling inventory components, supporting kitting operations, maintaining production records, and coordinating material movement throughout the manufacturing process. This position also assists with production startup activities, inventory management, and training support for production operators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize work orders to complete kitting requirements and production schedules.
• Pull and stage components required for manufacturing orders.
• Support production startup activities and ensure materials are available for scheduled runs.
• Move released production runs to the finished goods warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels within component storage areas.
• Pull, prepare, and ship components to other company facilities as needed.
• Return excess or unused materials from the production floor to designated storage locations.
• Maintain accurate production tracking and inventory records.
• Assist with training production operators and warehouse personnel as directed.
• Participate in required training programs and safety initiatives.
• Follow all company procedures, quality standards, and inventory control practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of warehouse and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency and keyboarding skills required.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with inventory control, material handling, or production support is a plus.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Experience in warehouse, inventory, kitting, production support, or manufacturing environments.
• Comfortable using computers for data entry and production tracking.
• Detail-oriented with strong inventory and documentation skills.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
