If you can see yourself fitting into this growing team, let’s talk about GIG things together.Colorado residents: Pay for this role is typically $19-$22 per hour depending on experience.RESPONSIBILITIES:Start your day knowing it probably won’t be typical and brand-new tasks not listed below are bound to come up.Select routes and place/bury drops for residential fiber plant.Operate equipment needed to install buried drops.Yard and landscaping restoration.Climbing a ladder will be required for aerial drop work.Whether flying solo or tackling the day as a team, you’ll be expected to work efficiently and productively. Flexibility is key.Secure necessary locates through 1-call system before work is initiated.Document the construction of fiber plant and provide daily and weekly production reports to the Supervisor.Provide a safe work environment by being knowledgeable of and enforcing all state, local, federal safety regulations and company safety policies.Operate and monitor company-owned vehicle and equipment by inspecting condition daily and maintaining a valid driver’s license.Ability to accept periodic assignments that involve travel away from immediate home office area based on client needs, business needs and project scope.You will be expected to lift up to 100 pounds.Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION:High school diploma or equivalent.EXPERIENCE:Preferred physical labor experienceSKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:Thorough knowledge of ALLO construction procedures.Ability to gain knowledge of fiber construction and material.Basic knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word and the ability to learn Smartsheets.Ability to communicate with internal and external customers, contractors and company employees.Ability to work evenings and weekends.Ability to travel outside of the home office area for extended periods of time based on project and business need.Must be able to:Must be minimum 21 yrs of age, DOT requirement to cross state linesOperate a company vehicleAbility to maintain a valid driver’s licensePull a trailer with equipment loaded on itIncludes hooking up and backing upAble to do general maintenance for vehicle and trailersWork DOT inspection sheet and obtain DOT physicalKeep truck and trailer clean and organizedWork power toolsClimb ladder up to 35’Run heavy walk behind machineryRead a measuring tapeUtilize personal cell phone for business purposesWork solo or with a teamWork with small items i.e., splice ends, snips and cleavers (will teach right candidate)Be punctual and ready to workAbility to drive a lift truck (preferred not required)REQUIREMENTS:Raise objects up to 100 lbs.Remain upright on feet for extended periodsAbility to communicate informationAbility to crouch and crawlAbility to bend, kneel, and standAbility to ascend/descend ladderAbility to carry tools and equipmentAbility to operate a computerAbility to operate hand tools and equipmentAbility to operate machineryAbility to work in outdoorsAbility to work in extreme weatherWeight Restrictions Areial:Ladder - less than 350 lbs. including equipmentBucket - Less than 250 lbs. including equipmentAbility to pass a DOT Physical/CertificationPossess/maintain a Valid Driver’s LicensePeople are our passion.
