Lead Business Analyst - W2 Candidates We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst / Lead Business Analyst to support a large, complex enterprise system within a regulated public‑sector environment. This role combines hands‑on business analysis, requirements leadership, and team coordination, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and subject‑matter experts. The ideal candidate has deep experience in requirements elicitation, business process analysis, gap analysis, and enterprise system documentation, along with the ability to guide and mentor other analysts while driving project deliverables forward. This position operates with limited supervision and requires strong independent judgment, leadership skills, and stakeholder management capabilities. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of enterprise requirements documentation initiatives Analyze existing systems and translate current functionality into clear, complete, and actionable system requirements Conduct gap analysis between current system documentation and business, regulatory, and program requirements Develop, manage, and maintain a structured project plan, including milestones, risks, and status reporting Guide and support business analysts and subject‑matter experts throughout the requirements lifecycle Facilitate working sessions with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to gather and validate requirements Ensure documentation accuracy, traceability, and alignment with regulatory and program needs Obtain stakeholder review and formal sign‑off on requirements and prioritiesProactively identify, elevate, and help resolve risks and issues Collaborate daily with cross‑functional teams to monitor progress and ensure timely delivery Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in business analysis, including requirements elicitation and documentation Strong knowledge of project management frameworks Experience working in large‑scale enterprise IT environments Demonstrated ability to define functional and non‑functional requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills Proven ability to work independently and lead others Preferred Qualifications Experience working with government systems, regulations, or compliance frameworks Background in public‑sector or regulated environments Experience leading a team or workgroup Strong skills in policy interpretation and translating regulations into system requirements Experience with enterprise Management Information Systems (MIS) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field Certifications such as CBAP or PMI‑PBA Contract role (up to 1,000 hours) Project duration: February 2026 – July 2026 Potential for extension based on project needs and performance Employment Details Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Contract Job function: Research, Analyst, and Information Technology Industries: Software Development Location: Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area #J-18808-Ljbffr CrowdPlat Inc
