Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Requirements At least eighteen months of experience as a CT Technologist in a health care setting. Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified. Most states require licensure. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Appropriately set controls of the related equipment, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as needed. Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable. Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans. Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures. Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and appropriately label. Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions. Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record. Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration. Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner. Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care. Promote and maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
