Key Responsibilities\nYour primary responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for clients. \n
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy. \n
- Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions for clients, utilizing a broad range of therapeutic techniques tailored to their unique needs. \n
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses all aspects of client wellness. \n
- Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Engaging in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and seminars to stay informed about advancements in mental health treatment. \n
You will primarily serve individuals and families with limited access to mental health resources. Our clientele may face a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use issues, and relationship difficulties. Your role will be critical in providing empathetic guidance and effective interventions, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.
Qualifications\nTo qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. \n
- Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey. \n
- A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting. \n
- Strong foundational knowledge of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice. \n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and rapport with diverse clients. \n
- Proven ability to operate effectively within a collaborative healthcare team. \n
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and various telehealth platforms. \n
While not mandatory, candidates with specialization or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse will be highly regarded. An understanding of contemporary mental health issues and trends will further enhance your contribution to our team.
