The Palm Springs Unified School District has sixteen elementary schools, five middle schools, four comprehensive high schools, one continuation high school, alternative education programs, one independent study program, and several headstart/state preschools. Requirements / Qualifications Valid California administrative credential authorizing service in this position.Five (5) or more years successful teaching experience or related experience, and a minimum of two (2) years successful administrative experience.Master’s Degree or HigherCharacter, personality, and social capability to relate and communicate effectively with staff, students, and community.Desired:Extensive background and experience in employee supervision, curriculum and instruction, counseling, budgeting, and instructional technology.Additional graduate work in administration.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and a wide variety of community groups and organizations.Completion of the Target Success Sketch is required. An incomplete sketch may subject the applicant to disqualification.
