A well-established regional law firm with more than 120 attorneys is seeking a Business Attorney to join its growing corporate practice in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney who wants to build a diverse business practice with significant client contact, meaningful transaction responsibility, and long-term growth potential.

The Practice

The attorney will advise businesses, owners, family-held companies, and other clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including:

General corporate counseling
Business formations and governance
Mergers & acquisitions
Buy-side and sell-side transactions
Family business transactions and succession matters
Front-end loan and financing transactions
Commercial contracts
Ownership and shareholder matters
Corporate restructuring
Strategic business counseling
Transaction due diligence
Drafting and negotiating deal documents

Job Details

Ideal Background
Prior experience in corporate, business, M&A, finance, or related transactional work
Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines
Strong academic credentials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in developing client relationships
Self-starter with strong judgment and work ethic
J.D. from an accredited law school
Pennsylvania Bar admission or eligibility to become admitted

Experience with middle-market M&A, family businesses, commercial lending, or general corporate counseling is particularly valuable.
