The Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC) located in Vinita, OK is a 24‑hour/365‑day secure inpatient forensic facility that provides jail competency services for the State of Oklahoma. Currently, OFC has 268 beds for consumers who have been found incompetent for adjudication or adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. About the Position The Nursing department is hiring Registered Nurses to provide direct care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient setting. Duties include providing professional nursing services such as nursing assessments, planning, interventions, health‑related education, case management, and administering medications and treatments prescribed by a person authorized to prescribe by state law. Job Type / Salary Open/Close dates: 3/12/2026 – until filled Full‑time Hourly pay rate: Level III – $36.77/hr, Level II – $34.85/hr, Level I – $33.65/hr Pay differentials when applicable Primary working hours: 6:30 am – 7:00 pm and 6:30 pm – 7:00 am FLSA status: Exempt Primary work location/department: Oklahoma Forensic Center / Nursing Vacancies: Multiple Minimum Qualifications and Experience Level III – Education and experience require a valid Oklahoma RN license (or eNLC recognized) and two years of professional nursing experience in a related setting. Level II – Requires a valid Oklahoma RN license (or eNLC recognized) and one year of professional nursing experience. Level I – Requires a valid Oklahoma RN license (or eNLC recognized). Special Requirements Applicant must pass an OSBI background check. Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job‑related travel, must have a valid driver’s license. Upon conditional offer, must submit to a physical examination and meet requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and pushing/pulling a maximum force of 25 pounds.
