Airport Curbside Concierge Check-in Agent

Responsibilities Work outside at the airport curb, checking in passengers for their flights and completing airline compliance training within the required timeframe. Position starts at $11.00 per hour plus tips. Part‑time position, open to weekends and holidays. Availability is preferred but open availability is acceptable. Work outside in various weather conditions and in early‑morning to afternoon shifts (1st and 2nd shifts only). Previous customer‑service experience preferred; paid training will be provided. Handle and secure luggage following TSA standards; issue boarding passes and tag bags. Provide general information to passengers about locations, directions and flight information. Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Assist guests with luggage check‑in: verify itineraries and number of bags, input guest information, charge credit cards for bags per airline, weigh bags, tag luggage. Confirm receipt of luggage and secure it after processing. Provide boarding pass, luggage claim tickets, and receipt to guests. Manage payments received from guests, answer phones, and respond to guest questions. Perform simple addition and maintain accurate records. Qualifications Ability to work early morning shifts. At least 6 months experience in face‑to‑face guest‑service position preferred. Experience with data entry or computers preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions. Knowledge of airline or travel industry preferred. Eligible to work in the United States. Successfully pass criminal background screening. Successfully pass pre‑employment drug testing. Physical Requirements / Work Environment Follow company appearance guidelines. Lift up to 70 lbs. Push luggage cages (empty ~100 lbs, full) regularly. Work outdoors all weather. Stand for up to 8 hours continuously. Regularly lift, carry, reach, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. Occasional bending, squatting, kneeling. Walk 50% of shift. Appearance Guidelines Men must be clean shaven except for a fully grown mustache, beard, or goatee. No visible tattoos or piercings; tattoos must be covered by uniform. Wear clean, well‑maintained approved uniforms. Additional requirements as directed by management. Salary Range: $11.00 - $21.00 per hour plus tips.
