Machinist Level 2

Our client, Manufacturing industry is seeking a Machinist Level 2 to join their team. As a Machinist Level 2, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinist Level 2

Location: Clackamas, OR

Pay Range:

Shift: Monday-Thursday: 5am - 3:30 pm, Friday: Overtime as needed

What's the Job?

• Review production process work instructions and drawings with supervisor to gain a thorough understanding of requirements
• Set up equipment required to complete each step of the manufacturing process
• Set tools and fixtures, load into machine, and set offsets
• Set parts X, Y, and Z offset in the machine control
• Read and understand G&M code

What's Needed?

• Knowledge of CNC machine tools and controls
• Ability to read blueprints
• Excellent math skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform job requirements with limited supervision
