Associate Attorney

Overview A law firm seeks a full-time Associate Attorney in Southeastern Ohio, serving multiple office locations. This role emphasizes client advocacy, relationship building, and practice development, offering attorneys the opportunity to grow their careers with flexibility, mentorship, and strong operational support. Responsibilities Represent individuals, families, and businesses with professionalism and care. Provide clear legal guidance and maintain consistent client communication. Manage casework including legal research, drafting, negotiations, and court appearances. Prepare pleadings, memoranda, and legal correspondence. Maintain organized and compliant case files using legal systems. Build relationships within the local community and develop referral networks. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff across the firm. Participate in firm initiatives and contribute to overall growth. Qualifications 3 to 5+ years of legal experience in areas such as general practice, transactional law, or litigation. Interest in building a client base and engaging with the community. Ability to manage responsibilities independently while working within a team. Willingness to travel regionally between office locations. Familiarity with legal technology tools preferred. Education and Certifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active admission to the Ohio Bar. Valid driver’s license. Skills Strong communication and client counseling abilities. Organizational and time management skills. Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to build professional relationships and networks.
